Kimpton Margot Sydney is looking for a passionate and dynamic Bar Supervisor to join the team at Kimpton Margot Sydney. As a Bar Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our vibrant bars, including Luke’s Kitchen, Wilmot Bar, and the Rooftop Bar, ensuring high standards of service, product quality, and guest satisfaction. Your leadership will set the tone for an exceptional guest experience while maintaining a fun, creative, and collaborative atmosphere for your team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the bar service team through training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Oversee daily bar operations to ensure smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Manage financials, including budgets, inventory, and cost control for food, beverage, and labor.
  • Drive promotions, events, and special initiatives to enhance guest experiences and revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on food and beverage campaigns and promotions.
  • Develop and approve innovative drink menus aligned with Kimpton’s signature style.
  • Address guest complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and memorable experiences.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Bar Supervisor or in a similar F&B leadership role, preferably in a luxury or boutique hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a passion for guest engagement.
  • Creative mixology skills and attention to detail in service delivery.
  • Ability to manage financials, inventory, and bar operations efficiently.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure with excellent time management.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate required.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent qualifications preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
  • Relevant experience in food and beverage operations with a strong understanding of industry standards.
