Holiday Inn Express Macquarie Park is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Express Agent to join our team. As an Express Agent, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring guests feel welcome, comfortable, and valued during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service Excellence:
    • Greet guests warmly at the front desk and over the phone.
    • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Assist guests with check-in/check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
    • Recognize and provide special attention to IHG Rewards Club members and VIP guests.
  • Revenue & Upselling:
    • Maximize room and food & beverage sales through upselling and cross-selling.
    • Maintain accurate cashiering and follow security protocols for financial transactions.
    • Help meet monthly targets for IHG Rewards Club enrolments and in-house revenue.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
    • Participate in daily briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
    • Keep the workspace organized and prepared for guest service.
  • Food & Beverage Service:
    • Assist with the preparation and service of food and beverages in the hotel’s Great Room.
    • Ensure food and beverage service is of high quality, following service standards.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Adhere to hotel safety procedures, emergency protocols, and food safety regulations.
    • Assist in maintaining the hotel’s property security and safety measures.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong desire to provide outstanding customer service and resolve guest issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to lift and assist with deliveries or luggage (up to 30kg).
  • RSA Certification (desirable).
