Position Overview Sage Hotel Wollongong is looking for a motivated and organized Groups & Conference Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team. In this role, you will manage and administer Group, MICE, and conference blocks, working closely with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations and financial success. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing hotel group and contribute to an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Coordination: Manage group bookings, coordinate rooming lists, and ensure accurate reservations and paperwork.
Client Liaison: Act as the main contact for group enquiries, ensuring timely communication and exceptional customer service.
Financial Oversight: Ensure accurate billing, monitor financial performance, and maintain compliance with policies.
Guest Satisfaction: Meet VIP groups, address feedback, and ensure the team delivers top-tier service.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Front Office, Reservations, and Sales teams to ensure operational success and financial growth.
Reporting & Analysis: Monitor group performance, provide financial reports, and recommend strategies for optimization.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in Group and Conference/Event Coordination.
Familiarity with OPERA, Delphi, POS systems (preferred).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Strong financial acumen and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
