We’re looking for a dynamic team to bring Melbourne's Next Hotel experience to life. Are we your Next adventure?

Reporting to the Night Manager, as a Night Auditor, you will live the Next Story Group’s Core Values of Passion, Accountability, Integrity and Respect. You will provide all hotel guests and patrons with an experience that exceeds their expectations throughout their stay and one that they will tell their friend about as they book for their NEXT visit!

Position Requirements:

  • Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and ensure a seamless check-in/check-out experience is delivered
  • Accommodate the requests and needs of all guests, make recommendations, upsell rooms and related services.
  • Answer all incoming calls promptly and pleasantly and provide appropriate assistance
  • Anticipate guest’s needs in terms of special occasions, special dietary requirements and assist with recommendations, room upsells and related services
  • Proactively communicate any guest concerns to relevant colleagues to ensure absolute guest satisfaction is achieved.
  • Ensure guest profiles are up-to-date and new preferences or detail changes are promptly updated in hotel PMS.
  • Be familiar with all hotel emergencies and fire procedures as well as know key hotel personnel and their extensions
  • Provide support to other departments as required

You will possess:

  • The ability to curate memorable experiences for our guests whilst building sincere emotional connections
  • Experience as a Guest Service Agent in an upscale hotel
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail
  • The ability to multi-task, work under pressure and problem solve effectively.
  • The flexibility to work during days for training and then over nights, including public holidays and weekends.
  • Experience of a hotel property management system seen as advantageous
