What You'll Do

As a Guest Experience Host - Porter you will create an exciting, innovative, and memorable hotel experience for all guests by working with a well-rounded and highly motivated Front Office team.

  • You will assist with welcoming & fare welling guests
  • Manage the collection and delivery of luggage & other items
  • Coordination / parking of guest vehicles - as required
  • Provide information on local activities, events etc.
  • Assist other departments as required
  • Professional and personable, with a "role up the sleeves", can do attitude
  • You make calm, collected decisions – even when the clock is ticking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication & phone skills

What You'll Bring

  • Ideally you'll have previous experience in a similar position in a hotel environment.
  • You have a passion for all things hospitality and love making genuine human connection
  • You have a high energy level and a passion for achieving superior results
  • You are detail oriented and able to effectively multitask with great communication skills
  • You thrive under pressure and are flexible when adapting to new situations
  • You take pride in personal presentation
  • You have a valid drivers' license
  • You have a passion to develop your hospitality career
  • You meet the appropriate legal requirements to work in New Zealand.
