Position Overview

The Senior Fund Accountant will play a crucial role in the Pro-invest Group finance team, supporting the growth of the Group. This position involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are legitimate and correctly recorded, and being audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, GST reconciliation, and intercompany loans.
• Set up new fixed assets and run depreciation.
• Prepare and present monthly cashflows for fund entities.
• Calculate intercompany recharges and maintain the intercompany matrix.
• Prepare and collate tax information for review.
• Consolidate multiple entities and ensure accurate eliminations.
• Account for equity investments, joint ventures, foreign currency transactions, and investment properties.
• Perform debt covenant calculations and ensure accurate interest accruals.
• Collaborate on various accounting projects and finance system implementations.
• Enhance the efficiency of the accounting system.
• Play a key role in the year-end audit process.
• Meet deadlines and inform the Senior Financial Controller of any issues.
• Continuously enhance skills and comply with company policies.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of accounting treatments and maintaining supporting documents.
• Experience in managing month-end close processes and consolidating entities.
• Proficiency in handling equity investments, foreign currency transactions, and investment properties.
• Ability to collaborate on projects and improve accounting systems.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
