Role Overview:
As a Cook at Holiday Inn Express Sydney Airport, you will work under the direction of the Duty Manager and be responsible for the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall food preparation in our food and beverage outlets. You will ensure that all food handling duties are executed with the highest quality service standards, while also ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and IHG procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stock Management:

   • Monitor stock levels, reduce wastage, assist with receiving and storing goods, and place orders as needed.

2. Team Collaboration:

   • Promote teamwork, communicate effectively with other departments, and maintain a positive work environment.

3. Guest Experience:

   • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in food outlets, maintain clean equipment, and follow food safety standards.

4. Compliance & Safety:

   • Adhere to food safety, health regulations, and workplace safety policies; participate in emergency response procedures.

5. Shift Coordination:

   • Ensure smooth shift handovers, follow preparation schedules, and maintain a tidy workspace.
