As Executive Chef, you’ll lead our kitchen operations and set the culinary tone across our restaurant, events, and room service offerings. You’ll be responsible for managing kitchen staff, designing innovative menus, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
We’re looking for a chef who leads by example, inspires their team, and is driven by both creativity and commercial acumen.
Develop seasonal menus and creative food concepts for events and promotions.
Lead, train and mentor the kitchen brigade and stewarding team.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, WHS, and company policies.
Manage food costs, labour planning, stock control, and reporting in line with budget targets.
Collaborate with hotel leadership to drive revenue across all food and beverage outlets.
Build strong supplier relationships and source high-quality, local produce.
Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, accountability and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a hotel or high-volume venue.
Trade qualifications in commercial cookery.
Strong people management and leadership skills.
Financial acumen including food costing, budgeting, and stock management.
A passion for training, mentoring and developing team members.
A creative thinker who can bring new ideas to life.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
Familiarity with the Hospitality Award and workplace compliance.
