Food and Beverage Supervisor Overview:
As a Food and Beverage Supervisor at Sage Hotel Ringwood, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage services. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding service, fostering a positive work environment, and driving revenue growth. LOCATION: Ringwood, Victoria
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Returns
- Accurately record Food & Beverage orders and sales, ensuring timely processing of all cheques.
- Monitor and drive sales incentives, upselling programs, and provide recommendations to the Food & Beverage Manager.
- Assist with pricing structure adjustments and revisions across all menu channels.
- Monitor and manage expenses and ensure stock levels, storage, and equipment usage are efficiently controlled.
Revenue Management
- Keep the team informed about hotel offerings and food & beverage activities.
- Maintain the setup of the restaurant, bar, and back-of-house areas to ensure they are always fresh and functional.
- Attend department meetings and contribute feedback and suggestions.
- Supervise the team to ensure consistent service standards and assist in developing strategies to boost revenue and guest loyalty.
Guest Experience
- Uphold professional standards within the team and assist with training and induction of new team members.
- Ensure shifts are adequately staffed and work hours are accurately recorded.
- Provide hands-on supervision of all food and beverage operations to ensure a flawless guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol principles and maintain high levels of staff certification.
- Report incidents and accidents following proper procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in a similar Food and Beverage supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team to exceed service expectations.
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of food and beverage operations, including stock management and pricing strategies.

Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
