The Role
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you’ll be responsible for general maintenance and repair duties across the property. From patching and painting to basic plumbing and guest room upkeep, your work ensures everything looks and works just right. You’ll also support hotel operations by making sure we stay compliant with brand and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general repair and maintenance tasks (e.g., fixing doors, light plumbing, painting).

• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests.

• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms and public areas.

• Coordinate external contractors when needed.

• Maintain equipment, tools, and materials safely and properly.

• Support team members with hotel-related projects and safety checks.

• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and storage rooms.

About You

• Previous experience in a maintenance or general handy person role preferred.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

• Comfortable working with tools, ladders, and handling physical tasks.

• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Available to work a flexible roster including weekends or public holidays if needed.
