Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations at HIEX Queenstown. The ideal candidate will be proactive, hands-on, and detail-oriented, ensuring the upkeep of the hotel’s facilities and infrastructure to the highest standards. This is a key role within the hotel, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and equipment, identifying areas in need of repair or attention.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations and environmental standards.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules and address any reactive repairs promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any maintenance-related issues.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering as necessary.
• Assist with the planning and execution of larger-scale maintenance projects.
• Provide leadership and training to maintenance staff, fostering a positive and motivated team environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for providing excellent guest service.
• Health and Safety certifications or equivalent preferred.
