Position Overview
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Rooms Division Manager to oversee Front Office and Housekeeping operations at voco Brisbane City Centre, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and a strong, engaged team. In this role you will be responsible for leading our Front Office, Concierge, and Housekeeping teams, working closely with department heads and senior leadership to ensure a seamless, high-quality guest experience from check-in to check-out.

What you'll do:

• Lead and oversee daily operations across Front Office, Concierge, and Housekeeping
• Deliver a consistent, high-quality guest experience 
• Manage team performance, training, and development, fostering a culture of excellence
• You'll know Opera PMS like the back of your hand.
• Collaborate with Revenue and Housekeeping to maximise occupancy and service delivery
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and brand standards
• Step in as Manager on Duty as required, handling escalated guest issues with professionalism
• Support budgeting, forecasting, payroll productivity, and cost control
• Ensure systems and reporting are accurate and up-to-date
• Drive improvements in guest satisfaction scores and online reputation
• Build strong relationships with OTA and wholesale partners to increase exposure and bookings

Who you are: 

You’re a confident and approachable leader with a proven track record in Rooms Division or Front Office Management within an upscale or lifestyle hotel. You bring a calm, solution-oriented approach, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for team development and guest satisfaction.

• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role in rooms division or front office operations
• Strong knowledge of hotel systems and front office procedures
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working across departments and stepping into operational roles as needed
• Knowledge of OHS/WHS, EEO, Anti-Discrimination legislation, and the Hospitality Industry General Awards.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a First Aid certificate and QLD RMLV and RSA certificates.
• A strong commercial orientation and strategic mindset.
