We’re seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to join our team at our voco and Holiday Inn Express Auckland properties. You will lead the engineering and maintenance team, ensuring the efficient operation of all hotel equipment and systems, maintaining compliance with local and safety regulations, and contributing to a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance and repair of hotel facilities and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to WH&S standards, providing training and inductions for staff and contractors.
• Manage capital project planning, energy management programs, and environmental controls.
• Contribute to guest satisfaction by quickly resolving maintenance issues and ensuring comfort.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and fire codes.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules and oversee contractor services.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairs and upgrades.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in engineering, maintenance, and hotel operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects and budgets effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in energy management and sustainability programs.
