Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Reservations Supervisor to join our team at Country Comfort Perth. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for customer service and a desire to lead and develop a reservations team. You will be responsible for managing reservations operations, optimizing hotel occupancy, improving customer service scores, and maintaining a positive team culture. The Reservations Supervisor will also drive high standards within the team and provide ongoing training to ensure exceptional guest service.

Maternity coverage role: mainly Monday - Wednesday (but days may vary depending on business demands)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee reservations from multiple channels (phone, email, website, GDS, etc.).
• Maximize hotel occupancy and revenue using conversion techniques and upselling strategies.
• Provide ongoing training and support to the reservations team to ensure exceptional service.
• Manage and maintain the booking engine, third-party distribution channels, and the hotel’s property management system (PMS).
• Handle group reservations, issue contracts, and maintain up-to-date group quote spreadsheets.
• Respond to reservation inquiries promptly and ensure accurate processing.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with pre-registration and advance reservation deposit activities when necessary.
• Develop training programs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the reservations department.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in a Reservations or Front Office Supervisor role in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of booking engines, property management systems (PMS), and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and training a team to deliver excellent customer service.
• A passion for providing high-quality service and improving operational performance.
