About the Role:

Hotel Indigo Sydney Potts Point is seeking a passionate and organized Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our dynamic team! This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead F&B operations at one of Sydney’s most vibrant boutique hotels, setting the benchmark for excellence in service and guest experiences.
As part of our growing team, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing the daily F&B operations, managing a team, and helping us create memorable experiences for our guests. You’ll work closely with different departments and lead by example, all while driving innovation and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage day-to-day F&B operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
Assist in developing and delivering Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to create consistent and memorable guest experiences.
Be a leader during hotel emergency procedures and ensure compliance with food safety and local government regulations.
Communicate effectively with a variety of people, adapting your style to the situation and ensuring clarity and efficiency.
Collaborate with teams across the hotel to find solutions and problem-solve as we grow our business.
Support, inspire, and lead your team with a hands-on approach, helping to foster a positive work environment.
You Will Possess:
At least 1 year of previous experience in a high-volume, contemporary food and beverage service environment.
The ability to manage and grow a team of passionate service hosts.
Strong leadership skills, treating the business as though it were your own.
Experience in opening hotels or large venues and knowledge of other languages is highly desirable.
A solid F&B background with operational experience in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and multi-outlet venues.
Experience in hotel operations including In-room dining, meetings & events, and breakfast services across two properties is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of Hotel Management software (PMS) is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with a professional, personable approach and a can-do attitude.
Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities, particularly under pressure.
RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and Approved Manager RMLV License highly regarded.
Must have the legal right to work in Australia.
