Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and customer-oriented Guest Service Agent to join our team at Hotel Indigo in Potts Point. As a Guest Service Agent, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience that aligns with our values of Passion, Accountability, Integrity, and Respect. You’ll be responsible for making guests feel welcome, assisting with their needs, and ensuring they have an unforgettable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Returns: Process payments and follow cash handling procedures. Promote upsell opportunities such as late checkout, room upgrades, and minibar items.
  • Guest Experience: Provide a warm and welcoming arrival experience. Check in guests, manage guest requests, and maintain the front desk to high standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside your colleagues to ensure smooth operations, assist during high-activity periods, and contribute creative ideas to enhance the guest experience.
  • Knowledgeable Service: Stay informed about local attractions, events, and places to visit in Potts Point and Sydney to share with guests.
  • Adhere to Company Policies: Ensure compliance with all operational procedures, including cash handling, guest confidentiality, and lost property. Participate in training and development opportunities.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous hotel or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Infor PMS or similar Hotel Property Management Systems is a plus.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with superior customer service abilities.
  • Ability to stay positive, energetic, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
